Submarine Campaign - Mission 3: Dance With The Devil

In that mission, as a DE and a DD were bearing down on me, I found the last escaping tanker on the horizon about 3.5K out. I point in that direction and released a spread of four torpedoes and dove. The sub killers were about 1 K out when by batteries died. So there I am dead in the water. I can't surface because my hull has only 1/4 of its armor left. at 250M, the pinging from the two ships is getting louder, I keep adjusting my depth to throw them off, but I can't move. I hear the depth charges hit and JUST at that moment, I get the congratulations that I had destroyed the convoy!

That was the hardest mission to date!!!

Recruiting Demo C

After destroying many bombers and a tanker convoy, I receive the proposition to quit the game. But I decide to continue to attack a german U-Boat. Unfortunately, he was an old and smart shark: he send me a perfect volley of 4 torpedoes. I success to avoid the first and the second one. The third finishes on my hull, and after a desperate turn to the right, the deadly fourth has literally slide along my hull! Wahou! Bad end for my story: after a long chess battle, the shark finishes me with a perfect torpedo from behind. Pull hard at the oars!

Just picked up a 4 boat wolfpack, turned to face them off and protect my charges - the oilers in the background. This shot was taken at the start of the battle.

The RNE stood strong, courage in the face of intense attack from the underwater rats - skulking and hiding, trying to bite when you least expect it, picking on the weak. After a stiff battle, the oilers sailed into the distance and then I really got stuck into those unfortunate u-boats....

Stalking the Salmon

The Yankee was hiding deep, too deep for our hull. We knew she was close, but how close? As the noise of the fast screws above receded, she started her engines, and we our pursuit. Twice she took us to periscope depth, only to dive back down again, deep under the protective ocean blanket. Sometimes she twisted her way out of range, but doggedly the soundman followed her. Finally - 47 metres underneath the rolling waves - we chanced upon her at point blank range. The orders barked out "Tube three, fire! Both emergency astern!". Just moments later the Yankee hull was rent by the force of our deadly fish.

IGN Submarine Mission 3

Better than U571: a true submarine to submarine battle !
With my cylinder of oxygen and my flippers I have taken for you some great screenshots. The infamous LFN's submarine who has caused the diplomatic incident between Americans and Germans by sinking discreetly an american merchant will find the depth for ever. I dive to find it, just skim it, and wait his lack of oxygen. When he surfaces I fire a torpedo from my 15 meters depth.
